20° is not funny!

I woke up this morning to 20°
that is a bit too nippy for my liking!

.. not a dry cold, mind you
we get a lot of moisture around here being not too far
from the great Pacific Coast
it's cold to the bones

even Wookie is feeling a bit under the weather..

it is sunny . I must say .. so we do love that!

a lot of people like snow.
I find it to be an unnecessary freezing of water

and look at the cute find found thrifting yesterday

gotta' luv um!

new in the little ZiBagz shop

inspired by a longing to get my hands in the dirt
 for a little gardening delight

it was such a pleasure to sink one's hands into the warm earth
to feel at one's fingertips the possibilities of the new season

however many years she lived
Mary always felt that 'she should never forget
that first morning when her garden began to grow
Frances Hodgson Burnett ~The Secret Garden

May I a small house and large garden have
and a few friends
and many books .. both true

.. Abraham Cowley

when people will not weed their own minds
they are apt to be overrun by nettles
.. Horace Walpole

how is that for a name...
I thought it such good advice I had to add it
making goals for the year and all .. you know

now wouldn't these be just lovely for a spring wedding?

and here we have

O wind
if winter comes
can Spring be far behind?
Percy Bysshe Shelley

I hope you are having a
delightfully sunny day
and remember
spring is not too far around the corner!

Thanks for the reminder but it seems like a long way off around here ... woke up to -10!
Such very pretty bags, as always, and one gorgeous, if unhappy, feline!

We are having an unseasonably warm winter--and I am so grateful.
