pause for thought and reflection

Here I sit in my bedroom which consists all of our bed and my desk and computer
... and a cuppa' coffee....
We load all of our earthly belongings tomorrow morning.
It is odd really to think that all that we own will be shuffled into a confined space
and shipped down the road.
I really tried to simplify.
Amazing what one collects in a short amount of time.
It is sobering to come face to face with every item you possess
and box it way carefully and neatly
wondering whether or not I truly want it
will it will safely reach it's destination
and where am I going to put it once it's there??? ....

hummm...

I think I will have a second cup before I resume my quest...

as for the Mr. Wookie dilemma

   Rescue Remedy Stress Relief
as the box assures...
Helianthemum nummularium... for courage and presence of mind
Clematis vitalba...  focus when ungrounded
Impatiens glanduifera... patience with problems
Prunus cerasifera... balanced mind when loosing control

Perhaps I can dose myself!!!

I was hoping the move was behind you already-but soon it will be, and both you and your family, and Mr. Wookie can start settling in.

I have a real problem with having too much stuff. I constantly want to sort, get rid of, and simplify. It is in deep conflict with the side of me that likes to scavenge, salvage, and collect. Nothing like packing up for a move to really take stock:)

Best wishes for a stress free day tomorrow Lisa:)

Hey Lisa, we are gypsys and have made so very many moves ... it is a strange reality to be in for awhile when everything you own is packed in a uhaul truck and trailor and you're not sleeping in your bed for a few nights. But just remember that change is good, moving is a great way to down size and it will all be okay.
Sending calm thoughts out to you, take good care.
