I'm to the point of having to stay away from the headlines and all the nasty stuff we are being bombarded with but Larry being a news junkie makes sure I know what I need to. It's all becoming a bit too much for tender hearted folks, I think.
I too am avoiding to fill my soul and heart with disturbing news - as much as I can - but of course there are things, I HAVE to know, being part of this world. So I often stay JUST with the headlines...

Lisa, this post is timely. Just this past Monday I had my husband reset the page I see first thing when I turn on my computer so that I do not have to read the headlines. The constant bombardment of bad news that the media thrives on was really starting to take a big toll on my mental state.
Your photo is like a restorative sip of water on a hot day. It soothes and comforts and makes me glad that your blog is such a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. Thanks for that:) xx
