when Anna was just itty bitty she would say
"mama.. could we go do nature's activities"
some things stay the same
thank goodness ♥
man's heart away from nature
becomes hard
.. Standing Bear
Nisqually Reserve is just minutes from our home
it was a rather gray day - Puget North Sound typical
we thought we needed a pick me up
hello there ♦ Mr Hawk
Good Bye
Croakin' BullFrog
trying not to be seen....
we thought this was neat
frog eggs under the water
they were rather hard to spot
but once we saw one
they seemed to be all over the pond
beautiful great blue heron
sweet little song bird
**note to self
bring bird book next time
old barns .. part of original homestead
we made a new friend ♥♥♥
I love to think of nature
as an unlimited broadcasting station
through which God speaks to us every hour
if we only tune in
♦ George Washington Carver
well put George!

...when your back door is paradise...ahh!!
Beautiful beautiful! Love each and every one as well as the messages.
Perfect photo taking locale! I was happy to see you use this George quote, it's been in my note book for years and I love it so much!
I get overloaded by the modern world pretty easily-I love doing something as simple even as going out in my garden and pulling up a weed or two, or filling the birdbath, or just taking a few deep breaths of fresh air. It truly restores my soul.
I love your pictures-it reminds me again at how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful area as the Pacific Northwest:)
Love all the nature photos...I just love the outdoors and you captured it well!
