sand & sea

Weekend GetAway!!!!

We are just minutes away from Puget Sound ..
salt water beaches & secluded inland bays
sea stars • beach combing • little sea critters
crabbing • clamming & the like
Lve Lve Lve that!!!

however...

I really love that the mighty Pacific Ocean
her powerful waves & endless views
are just an hour away!
Truly soothes the soul...

wouldst thou
so the helmsman answered
learn the secret of the sea?
only those who brave its dangers
comprehend its mystery
Henry Wadsworth Longfello

there is one spectacle grander than the sea
that is the sky
there is one spectacle grander than the sky
that is the interior of the soul
Victor Hugo

follow the river
and you will find the sea
French Proverb

Now here's a sight
you don't see every day!!

this is Zero
he is having his
"morning run"
quite the attraction in Wesport!!!

live in the sunshine
swim the sea
drink the wild air
Ralph Waldo Emerson

enjoy!!!

Now Zero on a skateboard is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! And I love the mighty Pacific too. I just wish I could see it more often:)

Just looking through your photos and reading the quotes puts me in a good mood...we are at least six hours away from the North Sea...there is something very maritime and tangible in northern ports...I love it.

I read and smile :)
Probably, if I throw a bottle with a message to the sea it will reach you one day :)
