Glad you got a little break between rains to get out for a picnic! Looks really nice ... we're getting snow showers today, just like Spring in the Rockies!
I'm definitely one who feels the rain—love that! Looks like you had an amazing time in the sunshine at the beach. Your post made me smile today. As did your comment on my "buried treasure" fabric. Believe it or not, you and your lovely bags came to my mind immediately when I was washing out the mud and suddenly all those pretty roses and flowers appeared in the fabric. I'm not quite sure how I want to use it yet, but I do think it would be well suited to a bag. I've dabbled in fabrics and sewing a tiny bit, so it's certainly not my speciality—I may just have to hand it off to a pro once I finish the cleaning… ;-)
